Taxi Driver Independent Contractor. Growing again! We need 4 night shift drivers and 2 day shift drivers. Car is provided. Kelowna is a great place with fantastic customers, and our community is growing. If you like people, this is wonderful work due to the variety of people you will meet and serve. As a Taxi Driver with Checkmate, in addition to the fun and very social nature of the position, you are trained as an Independent Contractor managing your own activities. Checkmate drivers are required to have a Class 4, 2, or 1 drivers license, enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have the potential to make up to $25 hr. You are an independent driver with a dispatch system and a Checkmate Cabs App that feeds you trips in whatever area you may be in. We are unlike any other Kelowna passenger transport company AKA Cab, Taxi, Ride Hail. Our drivers are Independent Contract Drivers and make more then the 60/40 split other companies offer (with the drivers making only 40%). Are you a professional Truck driver?
