Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in tax software. The Tax Preparer will be reporting to the manager to gather necessary financial information and prepare client returns.

Duties

Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze financial documents to determine tax liability. Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance. Utilize tax software such as TaxCycle to manage client accounts effectively. Assist clients with inquiries regarding their tax returns and provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Respond to clients' inquiries and handle client matters with CRA

Experience

Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar accounting role is preferred. Experience with tax preparation software such as TaxCycle is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide clear explanations of tax-related matters.

Pay: $22 -$26.00 per hour (Can be negotiated based on the experience and qualifications)
