Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial services.
Duties
Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze clients' financial situations to provide tax-saving strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Contribute as a team member to ensure office efficiency. Assist clients with bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, account reconciliation, and payroll processing. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other tools to manage financial data efficiently.
Experience
Familiarity with accounting or tax software valuable. Training will be provided. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing multiple clients effectively. Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
