We are currently seeking Tax Manager for Midsize public accounting firm. Our client is located North Toronto

Duties:

• Prepare tax planning memoranda and aid partners in the development and implementation of the plan.
• Acquisition structuring and due diligence
• Review intricate individual, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns.
• Correspondence with Canada Revenue Agency concerning diverse tax client matters
• Assist our clients with audits of their income tax and GST/HST returns
• Ongoing effective communication with partners regarding progress updates and issues
• Continue to hone technical expertise by keeping abreast of current trends, innovations, and tax authority rulings, and apply them daily.
• Staff mentoring and training

• CPA designation
• Completion of the Comprehensive Tax Training
• Expertise in tax planning for Canadian Privately Controlled Corporations and their shareholders
• Minimum of five years of public accounting experience with Canadian taxation
• Outstanding work ethic and problem-solving abilities
• Oral and written communication talents of the highest caliber
• Willingness to study and understand
• Investigate and resolve numerous tax issuesn tax planning for Canadian Privately Corporations and their shareholders
• Minimum of five years of public accounting experience with Canadian taxation Experience (advantage)
• Outstanding work ethic and problem-solving abilities
