About the Company
Our client is a mid-size public accounting firm. They are looking for a Tax Manager who will be responsible for providing tax advisory and tax planning services, handle complex tax filings (e.g. non-resident filings), and supports the rest of the firm.

- Review complex corporate tax returns, complex personal tax returns (e.g. deceased, departure, non-resident), T3 returns, and foreign reporting forms (e.g. T1134, T1141, T1142);
- Research and document complex tax issues;
- Prepare tax memorandums to implement post-mortem planning, estate freezes, and corporate reorganizations;
- Prepare written reports on assignments including tax compliance requirements (e.g. for inbound investments), CRA audits, objections, and voluntary disclosures;
- Respond to tax enquires from accounting and assurance staff;
- Source and identify opportunities for business development.
- Participate in weekly tax group meetings.
- Canadian accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA or CMA)
- Completed In-Depth Tax Course (Parts I, II, and III) or MTax
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience in a tax practice
$105,000 - $130,000/year
