Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax engagements for corporate and individual clients.
Advise clients on complex
tax reorganizations, compliance, and planning strategies
.
Oversee the preparation and review of
T1, T2, and T3 returns
.
Manage and mentor a team of 12 tax professionals, fostering collaboration and growth.
Partner with senior leadership to drive business development initiatives.
Stay current with
Canadian tax legislation
and share insights with internal teams and clients.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance
tax efficiency and client outcomes
.
Qualifications
CPA designation
required.
Enrollment in or near completion of the
In-Depth Tax Program
or
MTax
.
Minimum 4 years
of tax experience in a public accounting firm (Manager level or equivalent).
Strong technical expertise in
Canadian corporate and personal tax compliance
.
Demonstrated experience with
tax reorganizations, planning, and succession strategies
.
Exceptional
leadership, communication, and client relationship
skills.
Background in a
Big 4 or mid-sized accounting firm
preferred.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
