Duties

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations ensuring compliance with federal, state (provincial), and local regulations Conduct account reconciliation and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential issues Manage accounts payable, payroll, and sales tax using accounting software such as QuickBooks on line, and other accounting tools Perform bookkeeping duties including data entry, ledger management, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial records Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiencies and ensure timely completion of tasks

Experience

Proven experience in accounting or tax preparation roles is preferred Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks online and other bookkeeping tools is essential Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Knowledge of financial services industry standards and investment-related tax considerations is a plus Prior experience working with various accounting systems and software will be highly valued

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.98-$25.92 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
