to join our team in Windsor, NS. This is a full-time or part-time, in-person position that plays an important role in supporting both administrative and taxation preparation functions within our firm.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist walk-in clients, respond to phone calls, and manage incoming emails.
Coordinate and schedule client appointments.
Request required documents from clients for tax filing purpose.
Receive, log, and securely maintain client documents (including drop-offs).
Prepare and file simple T1 tax returns.
Issue invoices to clients and verify receipt of payments.
Submit T1 tax returns electronically to the CRA.
Follow company tax procedures and maintain accurate and organized records.
Perform other administrative and office support duties as required.
Qualifications
Previous work experience in an accounting or tax firm during tax season is preferred!
Experience in an administrative or accounting assistant role is an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Willing and available to work extended hours during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
