I am looking for a tax analyst to join a dynamic company in the events sector.
This is a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week), located near the Viau metro station.
Your responsibilities:
Collaborate in the preparation of income tax returns for the group's entities.
Participate in tax provision calculations and respond to auditors' requests as part of the annual closing.
Actively contribute to the management of national and international tax audits.
Maintain tax accounts and perform periodic reconciliations.
Work with HR and Payroll teams to ensure compliance with non-resident withholding tax requirements.
Produce and submit sales and use tax reports for Canadian and US entities.
Support tax analysis of various commercial transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.
Support transfer pricing calculations.
Participate in special projects related to acquisitions, tax restructurings, or the digital transformation of the finance department.
Required profile:
University degree in accounting or taxation; CPA designation is an asset.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation, including exposure to US and international taxation.
Good command of US tax concepts in a multinational corporate context.
Ability to conduct complex tax research and interpret legislation.
Analytical skills, rigor, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and/or Power BI is an asset.
