Our tax team is seeking a self-starter to join their collaborative team! This role requires working primarily in transfer pricing related subject matters within the planning & international function and providing support to the team on various ad hoc or recurring projects on a needed basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and documentation of Transfer Pricing cross-border intra-group transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Evaluate and analyze legal entity financial information including detailed analysis, reconciliations and reporting of global financial and intercompany data through the use of Transfer Pricing and ERP software (e.g., SAP).
  • Prepare or review information returns for related party transactions required in multiple jurisdictions, documentation and country-by-country reports.
  • Assist in Transfer Pricing audit defense in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the reviewing of commercial contracts and other legal agreements to ensure Transfer Pricing issues are addressed.
  • Prepare or review and maintain benchmark searches, economic, risk and functional analysis for various types of transactions through the use of Transfer Pricing software.
  • Stay abreast of global transfer pricing, tax and business development
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of international Transfer Pricing standards and new regulatory requirements.
  • Write reports and other business communication
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, accounting, business, law or economics
  • Minimum combined 5 years of work experience in corporate income tax and transfer pricing
  • CPA designation or equivalent is an asset
  • Completion of CPA in-depth tax courses (I, II) is considered an asset
  • Experience working in integrated oil & gas industries is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience in using Corporate Taxprep and partnership return software
  • Experience in industry research, economic analysis and benchmarking analysis
  • Demonstrate solid understanding with SAP (running GL details, financial information, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently or in a teamwork environment
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and inter-person skills
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills to work in a fast paced environment and handle a diverse workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
