A day in the life
You will:
Strive to provide a memorable experience for all of our customers whether it be in-store, over the phone, at the tasting bar, or during events
Organize and coordinate all in-store events, educational classes and assist with tastings
Create and maintain relationships with key industry representatives while coordinating with them for events
Communicate with Head Office to facilitate and execute new initiatives or directives
Utilize your knowledge and passion for wine, beer and spirits when assisting all customers
Inform customers of all current happenings in the store: sales, promotions and any upcoming events that may be of interest to them
Maintain an event catalogue/binder, keeping it organized and accurate
Work with local businesses and members of the community to drive traffic into the store with partnerships and collaborative events
Stay up to date and comply with all Liquor and Event regulations

Qualifications:
1-2 years of event planning experience is an asset
1-2 years retail or customer service experience
WSET Level 1 or applicable knowledge of the industry

Pay: $18.90-$20.65 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Day shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
