Sous la responsabilite du directeur de la tarification, nos professionnels de la tarification repondent aux besoins de tarification externalisee de nos clients en matiere d'analyse et d'evaluation des risques de mortalite et de morbidite. Le tarificateur est charge d'examiner les facteurs de risque medicaux, financiers et non medicaux des propositions d'assurance vie, d'assurance invalidite et d'assurance contre les maladies graves. Le tarificateur est charge de prendre des decisions de qualite conformement aux principes et aux lignes directrices de la tarification, et de mener a bien les taches qui lui sont confiees dans le respect des delais de service et des autres echeances fixees.

Responsabilites



Analyse du risque de mortalite/morbidite - determiner les exigences de tarification appropriees et classer les dossiers dans la categorie de risque appropriee en analysant et en interpretant les donnees de tarification pour l'evaluation du risque de mortalite et de morbidite. Fournir une expertise technique et un soutien aux entreprises clientes. Demontre une capacite a travailler de maniere productive dans un environnement sous pression et a gerer de maniere efficace et proactive les situations difficiles. Agir de maniere independante dans ses limites d'autorite de signature. Soutenir activement la direction du departement en apportant sa contribution, en aidant a la formation, en menant des discussions d'equipe, en participant a des projets et en contribuant de maniere positive a la resolution de problemes techniques ou de problemes lies aux clients. Contribuer a un environnement de travail positif grace au travail d'equipe et a l'esprit d'innovation. Participer aux evenements de la RGA et aux activites de l'industrie et entretenir des relations avec les principaux clients.

Exigences



Diplome d'etudes collegiales ou universitaires, ou experience de travail equivalente Minimum de 6 ans d'experience en tarification incluant experience avec les risques medicaux et financiers non standards Attitude orientee vers le service avec de fortes competences interpersonnelles pour travailler en collaboration avec nos partenaires internes et externes Solides competences en communication, ecrite et verbale Bilinguisme francais/anglais (l'oral comme a l'ecrit) est requis compte tenu de la necessite de communiquer oralement et par ecrit avec une clientele majoritairement anglophone basee a l'exterieur du Quebec. Plusieurs branches d'activite (Vie, Invalidite, MG) un atout

Reporting to the Director of Underwriting, our underwriting professionals support our clients' outsourced underwriting needs in the analysis and evaluation of mortality and morbidity risks. The underwriter is responsible for examining the medical, financial and non-medical risk factors of life, disability and critical illness insurance applications. The Underwriter is responsible for making quality decisions in accordance with underwriting principles and guidelines, and for completing assigned tasks within service time expectations and other established deadlines.

Responsibilities :



Mortality/Morbidity Risk Analysis - determine appropriate underwriting requirements and assign cases to the appropriate risk category by analyzing and interpreting underwriting evidence for mortality and morbidity risk assessment Provides technical expertise and support to client companies Demonstrates an ability to work productively in high pressure environment and effectively and proactively manage challenging situations. Act independently within specified authority. Actively supports the departmental management by providing input, assisting in training, leading team discussions, participating in projects, and being a positive contributor to the resolution of technical or client issues Contribute to a positive working environment with teamwork and a spirit of innovation Participates in RGA events and industry activities and fosters relationships with key clients

Qualifications :



College diploma / University degree or equivalent working experience Minimum of 6 years of underwriting experience including experience with substandard business, medical and financial underwriting Service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our internal and external partners Strong communication skills, written and verbal Bilingual French/English (oral and written) is required given the need to communicate orally and in writing with a predominantly English-speaking clientele based outside of Quebec. Multiple lines of business (Life, DI, CI) an asset

Compensation Range:




$85,500.00 - $106,850.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
