The Tanning Consultant contributes by providing a comfortable, outgoing atmosphere and stellar customer service to clients during their experience. Ensuring the environment is clean and well maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
oAssist customers and ensure they receive a tanning experience specifically tailored to their individual needs by educating them on the tanning process, benefits of skin care products and the value of our services
oMaintain the cleanliness standards of the salon set by a list of cleaning duties and tasks
oAnswer the telephone courteously
oRespond to customer inquiries or ensure a response via salon manager
oUse sales skills to communicate product information regarding memberships and tanning products to ensure customer's needs and meet sales goals
oDirect customer service problems or special requests to The salon owner/manager as needed
oComplete cash handling procedures
oAdhere to all salon policies and procedures
oPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
oRetail background preferred
oMust be comfortable engaging customers in a sales environment
oTeam oriented with a strong work ethic
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills
oCustomer Service background
oMinimum 6 months experience in a service/retail/hospitality preferred
oAble to anticipate problems and recommend solutions
oIdentifies opportunities to improve salon and work environment
oMust be 18 years or older
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
