Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Tandoor Cook. Previous Experience can include the back home experience as well. This role is essential in ensuring that our customer get delicious food. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in culinary practices, with experience in menu planning and food preparation. Training may be provided to a suitable candidate.

Duties

Prepare dough and make NAAN in Tandoor according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious options are available. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all food handling processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Provide support in catering events, including setup, serving, and cleanup. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking techniques to enhance meal quality. Ensure compliance with dietary department regulations and standards. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any dietary concerns.

Experience

Previous experience as Tandoor Cook is a must. Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry. Familiarity with catering services and meal preparation for large groups is an asset. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Culinary experience that includes serving and kitchen operations will be beneficial.
