ABOUT THE JOB

Zeno Canada is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Talent Specialist to join our collaborative, caring, and high-performing Talent team. This role supports a wide array of Human Resources functions, working closely with the VP, Talent and cross-functional partners including finance, payroll, and benefits.

The Talent Specialist will be the first point of contact for employees, responding to inquiries and connecting them to resources and information. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting new hire onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, employee lifecycle transactions, HR reporting, and maintaining data accuracy across HR systems, along with contributing to ad hoc projects and initiatives.

In this role, you'll be a go-to resource -- someone people turn to for guidance, clarity, and thoughtful solutions. ABOUT YOU

+ Proficiency in managing employee data and transactions in an HRIS, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality

+ Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

+ Experience contributing to HR programs, initiatives, projects, and process improvements
+ Served as a resource for employees to inquire about HR policies/programs and assisted in resolving issues
+ Ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
+ Approachable demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience + At least 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
+ Experience in an HRIS data entry role with understanding of key reports is a plus
+ Integrity in handling sensitive and confidential data
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and other MS Office programs
+ Strong critical thinking, and analytical skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication
+ A proven ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
