Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Talent Development Specialist (the Specialist) will support initiatives and programs intended to enhance the learning, development, and retention of the Northwest Territories Power Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s (NTPC) employees. This will include, but is not limited to, programs such as, succession and workforce planning, talent management, as well as employee and leadership development. This position provides advice and assistance to management to ensure NTPC maximizes its financial investment in training dollars with respect to the development of employees. The coordination of training (discretionary, professional development and continuing education), as well as the maintenance of accurate training records are a responsibility of this position.
