What You'll Be Doing: Reporting to the Talent Management Lead, the Talent Coordinator (HR) - 12 Month Contract will support the organization's student placement program. This role will be responsible for the placement of both clinical and non-clinical students across both the Long-Term Care and Retirement divisions.
  • Coordinate the deployment of students and track all clinical and non-clinical frontline student placements at the site level.
  • Partner with Sienna Long Term Care and Retirement site leadership teams to assess and plan student placement needs on a quarterly basis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with post-secondary institutions across Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
  • Support enrollment and registration processes with ministry partners to enable funding opportunities associated with hosting students.
  • Ensure placement data is accurate, up to date, and captured for tracking, reporting, and senior leadership insights.
  • Respond to ad hoc inquiries from post-secondary institutions and site-level management.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, employee engagement, or event coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion and initiative in dealing with confidential information.
