This is a 4-month work term starting in May 2024 and ending in August 2024.Protrans Personnel Services Inc. is a full-service recruitment agency specializing in transportation, warehousing and distribution, light manufacturing, and administrative placements. We provide businesses with human resource solutions that help them meet their goals, and match employees with rewarding career options.The Talent Acquisition \xe2\x80\x93 Student , reporting to the Branch Manager, will be involved in all aspects of the recruiting initiatives and processes, including employment branding, and candidate relationship management.This position is based in Dieppe, New Brunswick out of our Corporate Office (909 Champlain Drive)About the Role:

• Hourly Rate: $21.15/hour
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Utilization of an Applicant Tracking System (Bullhorn) and maintain to ensure data integrity. Responsible for managing the hourly workforce at key customer accounts.
• Conduct pre-screens and interviews via in-person or online platforms.
• Coordinate and manage pre-employment activities (orientation, safety), including conducting background checks and testing.
• Completion of verification of employment documents, reference letters, and other employee documents.
• Assist in weekly payroll activities.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

• Currently enrolled (or have recently graduated) in a Post Secondary Education completing a degree or diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Human Resources, Administration, Operations, Logistics etc..

Experience Requirements (Asset):

• Any previous experience that can be demonstrated as relevant or transferrable to the role (General Business, Customer Service, Recruitment, Logistics).

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Fluent in English (Oral and Writing).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office without training.
• Bilingualism in French is a very desirable asset.
