Duties:

Oversee full-cycle recruitment process, including:

• Creating job ads
• Posting on multiple candidate attraction sites
• Sourcing candidates through traditional and non-traditional methods
• Representing PTS at career and recruitment fairs
• Screening candidate resumes
• Arranging and facilitating interviews
• Performing reference checks
• Drafting and extending job offers

Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including training

Ensure all required new employee credentials and documentation are obtained:

• Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
• Child and adult abuse registry check
• Any other required PTS certifications/documentation

Maintain employee records and payroll documentation, including:

• Data entry
• Physical and/or electronic filing in databases

Support the HR department in other administrative duties as assigned.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience performing full cycle recruitment in a fast paced, customer focused business for a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to utilize and leverage diverse recruitment channels. E.g., social media, job boards and employee referrals.
• Knowledge of employer branding and the ability to promote PTS as an employer of choice and build its reputation as a great place to work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, trainers and leadership team.
• Excellent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain new and existing employee files

Conditions of Employment:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
