AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a temporary position to support large infrastructure programs in Canada. This position can be based in any of our offices within Canada with flexible work options. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Sr Director, you will be responsible to manage multiple openings from the initial planning and research, including market intelligence and insights, to developing search strategies and determining timelines based on search complexity, to candidate identification, assessment, development and presentation, all while providing a "white-glove" approach.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage full life-cycle recruitment including creating search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding processes
Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends
Develop and maintain market specific intelligence relevant to AECOM and talent needs that include maintaining a network of diverse industry contacts and partnering closely with strategic diversity initiatives
Responsible for developing, recommending and executing recruitment strategy with decision makers to ensure a successful candidate search within the identified time frames
Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry related associations, in order to build ongoing passive candidate networks
Build relationships and communicate consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed
Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications, with experience as a proficient user of AI tools and platforms. This includes leveraging AI for sourcing, job advertisement improvement, process automation and data-driven decision making.
Create a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process
Research and develop company target lists and identify potential candidates and sources
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree + 6 years of recruiting experience focused on identifying, assessing, attracting and hiring top talent or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Architectural, Engineering and Construction space is a plus
Ability to cultivate relationships through collaborative engagements with executives, peers, vendors and candidates
Strong interpersonal, communication, including professional representation and on target advice to stakeholders
Comfortable with ambiguity
