Job Description

Marcon is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our recruitment and selection efforts across both the Development and Construction divisions. In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top-tier talent while championing a seamless, inclusive, and values-based hiring process. You will act as a strategic partner to our hiring managers and a brand ambassador to candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience for everyone involved.

About the role:



Lead talent sourcing for key positions via established recruitment procedures and resources Organizing and implementing recruitment and selection processes. including the creation of postings, shortlisting and screening applicants, coordinating and participating in the selection panels, reference checking and offer distribution Supports the interview process including revising interview guides to be position specific and participating in interviews (virtual and on site) as required. Develop a pipeline of talent and a network of potential candidates for future roles through various online and in person methods, including event attendance to build Marcon's brand interest Engaging in proactive recruitment strategies to generate pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs Understand and communicate technical elements and requirements of various roles with hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders, with a focus on creating great experiences Developing, reviewing, and posting job adverts across multiple platforms Review and improve recruitment and attraction processes and procedures Manages employment offers and ensures a seamless handover to People and Culture Manager for onboarding Participates in industry specific recruitment fairs Partners with post-secondary institutions, educational programs and professional associations to promote Marcon Career opportunities and co-op programs;

About you:



2-4 years of experience in fast-paced technical recruiting Formal Human Resources Degree or equivalent is an asset Real Estate and/or Construction Management Industry experience an asset Ability to manage and maintain highly confidential information Strong organizational skills, administrative and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Exceptional organization skills and a keen attention to detail!

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees' skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Coupled with this base salary, we offer pay-for-performance bonus programs, excellent family health benefits, RSP matching, employee recognition programs and plenty of opportunities to socialize, have fun and build genuine relationships.
