As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will join our Calgary, Alberta office as part of our Human Resources Team. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment with one to two days in the office each week to support connection and teamwork. This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:Lead the Canadian end-to-end recruitment process, from crafting compelling job postings and coordinating social media campaigns to screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing offers with precision and care. Create and implement targeted talent strategies focused on new graduates, diversity and inclusion initiatives, enhancing new employee experiences, and strengthening employer branding efforts. Engage in networking events such as career fairs and professional association meetings, while fostering collaborations with universities and colleges across Canada to build strong talent pipelines. Deliver accurate and timely reporting on key recruitment metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes. Collaborate closely with Human Resources Business Partners and the broader HR team to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for hiring managers, applicants, and new hires. Develop and apply recruiting tools and best practices, including standardized screening techniques, to effectively assess candidate skills, qualifications, and experience. Provide thoughtful advice and consultative support to leaders, cultivating trusted partnerships that add value across the organization. Proactively build diverse and qualified talent pools aligned to organizational goals. Leverage the applicant tracking system (Workday) to create postings, manage candidate flow, coordinate approvals, and administer offers with accuracy and attention to detail. Balance strong administrative focus with strategic work by ensuring documentation, data accuracy, and compliance requirements are met while keeping the candidate and hiring manager experience at the forefront. Partner on segment-wide or Montrose recruitment projects to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function, including initiatives such as candidate assessments, technology evaluations, interview guides, and leader training.

What We Are Looking For
To perform this job successfully, individuals should be capable of executing each duty and responsibility proficiently. The qualifications outlined below reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed.A bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. 7+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition and recruitment experience, preferably within the environmental industry. Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure process consistency. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence leaders at all levels. Proven experience using data and insights to develop and refine recruitment strategies. Demonstrated success leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness. Skilled in using recruitment and digital tools such as applicant tracking systems (Workday), electronic job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), and social media to proactively source and engage qualified candidates. Experience supporting remote teams and leading interviews, presentations, and training sessions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Solid understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements. Willingness and ability to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities, HR meetings, and programs (approximately 10%).

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
