About the Role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to support our Human Resources team. The Talent Acquisition Intern will play an important role in creating an exceptional candidate experience and working closely with their talent peers on all aspects of the hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Intern will handle all administrative functions of the talent acquisition cycle.
About Your Day

  • Monitor the status of approvals on staffing requisitions and follow up where necessary
  • Assist with preparing job postings & post jobs through our various channels and platforms and research new opportunities to post
  • Provide recruitment support through scheduling and conducting phone interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule candidates for interviews
  • Participate in interviews when necessary
  • Assist hiring managers with creating interview guides
  • Conduct criminal background and reference checks
  • Prepare employment agreements and expedite onboarding (i.e., submitting ServiceNow tickets)
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners
  • Create, maintain, and close recruitment files
  • Follow up with hiring managers for relevant recruitment file items
  • Share recruitment updates and ensure tracking toward deadlines and key dates
  • Ensure an agile, quick and smooth process for candidates
  • Provide general administrative support within the HR department
About You
  • Post Secondary education in HR or related field
  • 1+ year of exposure to recruitment practices or equivalent education
  • Self starter with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong follow through and customer service orientation to ensure a positive recruitment experience for candidates
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful, organized and detail oriented
Remote Work
  • This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office a minimum of 1 day each week, with the ability to work from home for the remaining workdays (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
  • When working from home, a reliable internet connection is required. Remote work is supported with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools (i.e., MS Teams)
