The challenges that await you
You will perform various administrative support tasks for the staffing processes aimed at filling positions within the City of Laval. You will receive, produce, and verify documents related to commitments, personnel movements, various leaves, and departures, and carry out the required communications and follow-ups with stakeholders and candidates. You will also ensure the administrative aspect of welcoming new employees.
Examples of tasks:
Receive internal applications, validate the information appearing on the application forms, and prepare the list of candidates received following the posting, based on established criteria;
Prepare hiring and personnel movement communications;
Confirm and coordinate hiring and personnel movement dates, inform the relevant managers and candidates, and prepare the appropriate communications;
Provide technical support to various internal stakeholders regarding staffing;
Conduct research and compile specific information from files, documents, and databases.
The ideal profile for us
Hold a college diploma in human resources or in any other relevant field;
Have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the role;
Have good knowledge of Office suite software (Word, Excel, SharePoint);
Experience in customer service;
Have a good sense of organization and be meticulous;
Possess good skills in French, both written and spoken.
