Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and an eye for detail, ensuring that garments are altered and repaired to the highest standards. As a Tailor, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service while delivering quality craftsmanship.

Duties

Measure clients accurately to determine the appropriate alterations needed for garments. Perform alterations on

various

types of clothing, including

suits

dresses

, and

casual wear

. Repair damaged garments by sewing, patching, or replacing fabric as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their preferences and requirements. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and techniques in tailoring to enhance skills and service offerings.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Basic math skills for accurate measurements during alterations. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship on all garments. Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

Dress Code:

All staff must present themselves in formal to semi-formal attire such as dress shirts, tailored pants, blouses, clean shoes. You are the face of our shop, and presentation matters.

Hygiene & Grooming:

Basic personal hygiene and neat grooming are non-negotiable. Clean hands, tidy hair, and a polished look are expected daily.

Communication:

Fluent English is required. You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Professionalism:

Punctuality, respect, and a courteous attitude toward clients and team members are essential.

Attention to Detail:

Whether in tailoring or customer interaction, we expect a meticulous and quality-focused approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
