Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit General Labourers to support our clients mining operations in Kirkland Lake.

Responsibilities:

• Operate reagent/water pumps and valves
• Monitor process by sampling, preparing and analyzing water samples in the ETP lab, as well as reviewing flow monitors
• Assist with performing basic maintenance and repairs on pumps and piping, including unplugging lines
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
• Housekeeping and other relevant tasks as assigned by the Mill Operations Supervisor in the ETP, Crushing Plant or Mill facility
• Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve the goals of the mine site
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy loads
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially hazardous environment
• Must have a solid understanding of IRS and working safely alone
• Communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written) to fill out log sheets and communicate using a radio
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions
• Basic computer skills required. Use HMI, Excel, Outlook
• Prior experience in manual labour or the mining industry is an asset
• Valid G class drivers licence and reliable transportation is required

Schedule: 7/7 rotation, 12-hour shifts, alternating day and night shift
Pay Rate: $26
