Job Overview

We are seeking a highly alert, professional, and dependable

Tactical Security Guard

to ensure the safety, security, and protection of people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong situational awareness, a proactive security presence, and the ability to respond effectively to high-risk or dynamic situations. This role requires a confident, disciplined individual with experience in security operations, loss prevention, or law enforcement-style environments. Familiarity with tactical equipment, CCTV monitoring, and incident response procedures is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct proactive and visible patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and unauthorized access Maintain a strong tactical presence to ensure safety and order within the premises Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to detect suspicious or threatening activity Enforce security policies, site rules, and access control procedures for staff, contractors, and visitors Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, or alarms Utilize

verbal de-escalation and conflict management techniques

to safely manage confrontational situations Assist in loss prevention by identifying, monitoring, and addressing theft, vandalism, or suspicious behavior Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and observations Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, or site management when required Inspect security equipment regularly and report malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
Skills, Qualifications & Assets

Previous experience in

tactical security, law enforcement, military, corrections, loss prevention, or a related field

is preferred

PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics)

certification is considered a strong asset

Verbal de-escalation, conflict resolution, and use-of-force training

are considered assets Experience with CCTV systems, surveillance monitoring, and access control procedures Excellent observational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-stress or emergency situations Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain alertness and professionalism during extended shifts Physically capable of conducting foot patrols, standing for long periods, and responding quickly to incidents High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism
