We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing security protocols, and maintaining a safe environment. This role is vital in preventing loss, deterring unauthorized access, and responding promptly to security incidents. Prior law enforcement experience or background in surveillance is highly valued, along with familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
Responsibilities
Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate action or escalation as necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to address security concerns.
Requirements
Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred.
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance technology is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications.
Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
