Job Description
The Canalta Group of Companies is a privately held Canadian owned company focusing on the manufacturing and service of industrial control and measurement equipment, specifically targeting the gas industry and supplying product internationally. We are currently recruiting for a Tack Fitter at our head office in Red Deer, AB.

- Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30 PM schedule
What will you do?
- Interpret and follow weld procedures
- Measure pipe and fittings
- Read drawings and datasheets
- Operate forklifts and cranes
- Operate manual plasma cutter, pipe threading machine, hydraulic press, grinders & band saw
- Tack weld fit up of butt welded and socket welded pipe assemblies using GMAW and SMAW processes
What do you need?
- Previous forklift experience
- Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and be comfortable with repetitive, high volume, extremely accurate output
