Winter and March Break Camp Information:
Our Winter and March Break Camps run from mid December to the start of January and on the week of March break, with locations across the GTA (Toronto, North York, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Mississauga, East York, Scarborough, Pickering, Whitby, Aurora, and more).
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and promote the safety of all participants.
Prepare lessons, and lesson plans according to the required curriculum.
Plan, develop and implement all training practices.
Continuously develop and critique the curriculum.
Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations, guided discovery, and where possible physical manipulation.
Lead students through activities that will promote the growth of their physical, mental, and social development.
Identify each child's individual learning needs.
Nurture and develop all athletes' potential skills and abilities.
Evaluate student's progress and discuss results with students, parents, and the onsite coordinator.
Tracking student progress by filling out weekly report cards.
Analyze athlete performance and modify existing plans for maximum development.
Participate in staff meetings and required training.
Assemble, maintain, and repair all supplies or equipment, when necessary,
Motivate athletes to success.
Monitor the program, sports facility, materials, and equipment to ensure safety and provide first aid assistance when required.
Enforce safety rules and regulations.
Additional duties as prescribed.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children aged 4-12.
Background knowledge and experience in Soccer or other sports.
Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
Standard First Aid and CPR C.
Strong communication skills.
Bilingual - English/French is an asset.
