About TAC Force:


Weekdays and weekends


The TAC Force's goal is to give student-athletes access to the game of basketball. Basketball is the second most popular sport in the world. But gaining access to the game has always been a challenge to many enthusiastic basketball players, including fans of the game. TAC Force aims to help this issue by giving athletes an elevated experience of the game by providing special events and activities such as; workshops clinics, house leagues, and basketball camps. TAC Sports values innovation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence in its team.


Specific Responsibilities:


Lead, supervise, and promote the safety of all participants Prepare lessons, and lesson plans according to the required curriculum Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations. Nurture and develop all athlete's potential skills and abilities Evaluate student's progress and discuss results with students, parents, and the onsite coordinator Tracking student progress by filling out weekly report cards Participate in staff meetings and required training Motivate athletes to succeed Enforce safety rules and regulations
Qualifications


Experience working with youth aged 4-13 Background knowledge and experience in Basketball

Current Vulnerable Sector Check

Standard First aid and CPR C Strong communication skills Bilingual - English/French is an asset

NCCP Preferred

Asset:


At least 1 year of experience in coaching camp or a summer camp. National Coaching Certification Program Certificates Valid G license and access to a vehicle. (OR eligibility to be insured under our Camp insurance policy) Certification in HIGH FIVE
Compensation:


Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. TAC Sports welcomes applications from people with disabilities and will provide accommodation as required by law upon request.
