FTE: 1.00 - Temporary
The anticipated start date is December 1, 2025 with an anticipated end date is June 26, 2026, or will be based upon the return of the incumbent.

The School
Lethbridge Christian School serves approximately 200 students and offers an Alternative Program in accordance with the Alberta Education Act within Lethbridge School Division. Our school is operated through a partnership between the Lethbridge Christian School Society and the Lethbridge Division School Board.

Subjects
Lethbridge Christian School is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join their team as a Grade 3 Teacher! Candidates will have a passion for supporting students in learning, be enthusiastic, flexible, and an energetic team player who has the following attributes and qualifications:
  • Strength in providing differentiated instruction for a range of diverse learners using effective, evidence-based teaching strategies;
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Sound understanding of Inclusive Education practices;
  • An understanding of Christian Education;
  • Strong understanding of the new curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Applicants must posses or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
  • Applicants are required to submit a philosophy of Christian Education as part of their application.
  • Applicants must provide one reference from a faith based organization.
Conditions of Employment
In order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, applicants new to Lethbridge School Division who are offered employment must provide:
  • A police information check; including Vulnerable Sector Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment that does not have any charges or convictions.
  • A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.
  • Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver's licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card. If one cannot be provided, a new card must be obtained and proof of application provided within three days of hire.
  • Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee's legal name. If valid Social Insurance documentation in the current legal name can not be provided, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a new one within three days of hire.
