:West Coulee Station Elementary School - Multiple Teaching Positions - Expression of InterestThe expected start date is August 25, 2025.The expression of interest will remain open until February 14, 2025 at 1:00pm.The SchoolThe brand-new West Coulee Station Elementary School will open for the 2025-2026 school year. Located in Garry Station and future home of the Spanish Bilingual program, the school will serve approximately 400 to 500 students from kindergarten to grade 5. West Coulee Station Elementary School will provide a large welcoming space for all students for instructional and performance activities in the Garry Station community.At West Coulee Station Elementary School, we prioritize the development of essential traits in our students. InformationWest Coulee Station Elementary School is accepting expressions of interest from Lethbridge School Division teachers who currently hold a continuing teaching contract with the division. If you are interested in being considered for a voluntary transfer please complete the expression of interest.West Coulee Station Elementary School is now accepting expressions of interest for approximately 9 English and 11 Spanish Elementary School teaching positions.Thank you for taking the time to express your interest in being considered for a voluntary transfer to West Coulee Station Elementary School! Although this process is an expression of interest, it is still a competition amongst teachers in the division who currently hold a continuing teaching contract, so applicants will not guaranteed an interview or a voluntary transfer.Requirements:

• Applicants must currently hold a continuing teaching contract with the division.

Conditions of EmploymentIn order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, applicants new to Lethbridge School Division who are offered employment must provide:

• A police information check; including Vulnerable Sector Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment that does not have any charges or convictions.
• A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.
• Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver's licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card. If one cannot be provided, a new card must be obtained and proof of application provided within three days of hire.
• Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee's legal name. If valid Social Insurance documentation in the current legal name can not be provided, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a new one within three days of hire.
