We are recruiting to fill a current 12 month contract in our IT department.





Reporting to the Team Lead, System Support, in this role you will join a dedicated team of IT professionals, where you'll provide front-line technical support to staff by helping resolve requests for technical help on a wide variety of platforms, tools and applications. You will diagnose root issues, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to ensure our teams can work effectively and efficiently to serve our members.


Key Responsibilities




Provide Help Desk service support for staff members, resolving issues and providing solutions Build end user technical capabilities through instruction and encouragement Implement and support application upgrades Configure places and maintain hardware and software Complete routine systems maintenance and backups

As the ideal candidate, you have excellent communications skills and a commitment to providing outstanding service. You are an organized self-starter who enjoys troubleshooting, resolving problems, and building capabilities of inexperienced end-users. While comfort with technology is helpful, if you are enthusiastic and a quick learner, we provide excellent training to ensure you have all the tools and knowledge you need.

Some post-secondary education or training in a relevant area Current experience with standard business software applications General knowledge of networking concepts and practices (beneficial)*
2 years of experience providing end-user software and hardware support (beneficial)*
