ProKontrol is the largest distributor of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration controls (HVACR) for commercial buildings in Canada. We distribute all major brands of HVAC controls under one roof.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure technical implementation of assigned projects according to terms and conditions Revise project files Analyse the quotation Write the sequence of operations Develop control diagrams and prepare sketches Design plans and sketches for control systems, including drawings Program the DDC controllers and perform testing, based on technology adapted to customer needs Communicate directly with customers and/or engineering firms when required Carrying out troubleshooting and solve problems related to start-up Provide technical support to customers as required (remote connection and service calls) Support system start-up with the customer, presence on worksites is sometimes required Carry out maintenance and inspections of installed systems according to contracts, including gas detection Support the team for quotation, as needed Keep up to date in learning about new products and technology Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows, if desired

Requirements

College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Automation or a related filed 10 years of experience in HVAC/Controls field Knowledge of systems such as Prolon, Johnson, Honeywell Webs, Niagara Tridium, Strato, Delta, KMC or Distech, an asset Bilingual
