LOCATION: Corporate Services, Oxford County Administration Building

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Full-time

REPORTING TO: Supervisor of Systems and Applications

UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union

WAGE RATE: $45.23/hr - $56.54/hr ($82,318.60 - $102,902.80)/Annually

POSITION SUMMARY:



As a member of the Information Technology (IT) Team, the Systems and Applications Analyst is responsible for the design, installation and support for servers and server-based applications maintained by Oxford County IT.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



Post-secondary education in Computer Science and Information Technology or related discipline. Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and productivity suites. Demonstrated recent experience administering Windows and Linux based servers. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Competent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Entra, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint. Demonstrated working knowledge of networking technologies Thorough troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to take initiative, work independently, and handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Experience supporting Macintosh computers (laptops/workstations) (asset). Previous front-line customer service experience is preferred. Experience supporting SCADA systems (asset). Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (asset). Knowledge of relevant trends, best practices and legislation and regulations. Valid Ontario drivers' license required. An acceptable Criminal Record Check will be required.
