Systems Analyst Collicutt Energy Services Corp., a leader in power generation industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled Systems and Network Administrator to join our Red Deer Head Office location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both systems administration and networking, with experience in programming and database management. As a Systems and Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our company\'s computer systems, network, and databases as well as developing applications for internal users. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network, database, and web servers
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Monitor network for security threats and identify vulnerabilities
• Manage Windows Server and virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware
• Develop and maintain scripts and applications using Python, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, and

Angular, Visual Basic, IIS

• Manage database systems and write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
• Participate in the systems development life cycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
• Ensure the security and reliability of company systems and data
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed
• Manage backups and data recovery protocols
• Cisco Meraki network appliance configuration, deployment and support
• Expertise in Office 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, and Office Suite
• Stay current with new technologies and make recommendations for future improvements
• Administer the landline system including learning the software on the current phone system to move users

and update extensions

• All other duties as required
  

Related Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration and networking
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, and Angular,

Visual Basic, Php

• Expertise in web framework technologies and client server model
• Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL scripting
• Experience with Windows Server management, Hyper-V, and VMware
• Knowledge of systems development life cycle and software development methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Effective time management, including the ability to anticipate and deal with the effects of change
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
