ResponsibilitiesCollaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure project success and problem resolution, including 24/7 on-call support;
Manage the full engineering project lifecycle, perform complex development tasks, and recommend solutions based on best practices;
Diagnose and resolve various technical issues based on existing precedents and industry standards;
Support product managers by evaluating software requirements, developing and reviewing detailed specifications;
Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase team efficiency;
Document system architectures, workflows, and procedures for team and management reference;
Maintain an accurate inventory of systems.
QualificationsUniversity degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent field;
More than 10 years of relevant experience;
Expertise with IaaS SEG's Cisco IronPort; knowledge of Proofpoint is a plus;
Extensive experience with Microsoft email platforms: Exchange Online/M365, Exchange 2016/2019/SE;
In-depth understanding of email security controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware);
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command line management;
Solid experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Load Balancers, ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML;
Skills in managing and optimizing Windows Server 2016/2019 environments;
Knowledge of virtual machines and standard server engineering tools;
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills;
Experience with ServiceNow and change/incident management processes;
Exposure to enterprise integrations during mergers and acquisitions;
Experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of Azure/IaaS services are assets;
Excellent communication skills in French and English. The ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is required as the person in this position will be required to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners outside Quebec.
