Job Description


Summary of Duties:

  • Analyze and understand software requirement/specifications and translate to test plans and test cases.
  • Prepare test data for testing activities.
  • Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the development team.
  • Verify builds for quality prior to production deployment
  • Translate high-level business requirements into test scenarios.
  • Find clear reproduction steps for issues reported by users.
  • Provide tier 3 support for various in house and vendor applications
  • Odette Picis Systems Administrator
  • Liaise with vendor to implement system testing and upgrades
  • Manage user accounts/groups
  • Manage department-specific application settings
  • Provide end user training on PICIS OR Manager application
  • Provide end user support on TrackOR patient flow application
  • BloodTrack Tx/Mobile PPI Application Administrator
  • Provide tier 3 level support for Application related issues
  • Manage user accounts/groups
  • Troubleshoot, fix and escalate application issues
  • Provide training and support super users and normal end users
  • Provide monthly reporting for new and existing departments/units
  • Review data and provide identify and investigate of discrepancies
  • Hardware setup and configuration
  • Participate in cohabitation testing with IT Technical Services
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Jest and Cypress.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Angular/JavaScript or similar.
  • Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
