Job Overview




The Systems Administrator is responsible for the overall health, administration and montitoring of infrastructure related items including; LAN/WAN networks, voice, branch, wireless, and security networks.





Key Responsibilities



Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud) following industry best practices. SecurityCompliance: Apply zero-trust principles, manage identity and access, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Performance Optimization: Analyze system capacity, forecast growth, and recommend scalable solutions for evolving business needs. Proactively monitor system, respond to issues, troubleshoot and work with system engineers to identify root causes, develop and implement technical resolutions PatchConfiguration Management: Oversee patching and configuration using modern tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Ansible, RHEL Satellite). BackupRecovery: Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, including cloud-based resilience strategies. DocumentationKnowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to knowledge bases for operational excellence. Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure, applications, and network services. Be involved in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting ATM's, ITM's, CRU's and any new technology as assigned On call support will be required Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills



Actively Pusuing or currently possess on or more of the following Certifications + Microsoft Azure AZ-900 certificate
+ Microsoft Azure AZ-104 certificate
+ VCTA - VMware Certified Technical Associate
+ VCP - VMware Certified Professional
Two to three (2-3) years of experience in systems administration within Hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environments Proficiency in virtualization (VMWare) and containerization Experience in enterprise level backup, Disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Strong knowledge of networking (Routing, VLANS, SD-Wan) and security technologies (Firewalls, VPN Experience with Automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integrations Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to emerging technologies. Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call support

This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office in Stoney Creek and ability to travel to branch locations as needed.
