What You'll Do:



As a member of QA/RA System Test team, take ownership of various design verification and validation activities Work closely with the development team to comprehend and scrutinize complex hardware, software and system-level requirements Design, develop, and execute test procedures; complete documentation for results and reports Use exploratory test techniques to provide early testing feedback throughout the design and development process Design and develop methods and test tools - both manual and automated - to aid in efficient and systematic testing Participate in the assessment of potential product hazards and devise appropriate tests to verify mitigation of identified risks Participate in design reviews to discuss implementation details and suggest improvements/features Accurately report and track product defects; verify bug fixes and perform regression testing Assist with the process of transferring the design to manufacturing; help generate manufacturing instructions and associated in-process test methods, including helping to automate some aspects of the manufacturing process Work closely with customer facing departments to investigate and resolve customer issues Manage test equipment to comply with calibration requirements and perform inspection and maintenance to ensure test equipment are in good working condition

What You'll Need:



Bachelor's degree in engineering - electrical, mechatronics, biomedical, OR the equivalent in a related specialized field and two+ years of related experience 3+ years professional experience in a team working on new product development Fluent in Python programming Hands-on expertise with electrical Test and Measurement equipment: oscilloscopes (voltage/current/power), multimeters, signal generators Working knowledge of Electromagnetics, RF, EM Fields/waves Familiarity with 3D product design Passion for end-to-end testing of software as well as hardware systems

It'd Be Amazing If You Had:



Experience developing/testing integrated systems Experience in a regulated industry (e.g. medical, automotive, aerospace) Experience designing specialized electro-mechanical test fixtures Scripted automated testing (e.g. using Python or C# with Test and Measurement equipment) Prior interface with external test providers, testing per IEC60601-1 and FCC standards Knowledge of the following standards: IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 Experience using JIRA or other similar development management software Experience with the medical device product development lifecycle
