Position: System Support Analyst
Location: Toronto
Our client seeks a skilled System Support Analyst to maintain and administer their networked computer systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Managing user accounts and access rights.
- Performing system backups and disaster recovery.
- Collaborating with IT team on new site setups and infrastructure projects.
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a System Support Analyst in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-premises)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Azure Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP network stack and related services
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license and ability to travel
- Ability to lift computer equipment and work flexible schedules
