Responsibilities

System design and development of HVDC projects and tenders with focus on integration and interaction with surrounding AC networks.

Simulation studies in phasor (RMS) and transient (EMT) domain including verification of dynamic performance of HVDC control and protection.

Model conversion of large network data to reduced network equivalents

Model development in various simulation tools used for power system studies including virtual representation of real control and protection system.

Technical support in factory system test and real-time simulator.

Project and tender work including internal and external support.

Qualifications:

Keen interest in how and why things really works the way they do and pay attention to detail in order to navigate different challenges.

Able to approach complex problems by applying analytical skills and work in a structured manner.

Taking responsibility for your work and deliver on time.

Ability to work both independently and in teams.

Master/Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Power Energy Engineering, Physics or similar field.

Previous experience in power system engineering, HVDC technology, HVDC control, dynamic modelling, system studies and simulation tools (PSCAD, PSSE, EMTP, PowerFactory, etc.) is meriting.

Proficient in English since you will be part of a company that operates on the global arena.
