The Software Security Engineering group is responsible for development and enablement of Platform and Content security features across the software stack including device drivers, firmware, and application level interfaces. The group is responsible for supporting the entire range of AMD products including APUs, CPUs and GPUs, enabling customers to build competitive solutions.
THE ROLE:
Join our dynamic Software Security Engineering group, where you'll be at the forefront of developing and enabling platform and content security features across the software stack, including device drivers, firmware, and application-level interfaces. Our team supports the entire range of AMD products, including APUs, CPUs, and GPUs, enabling customers to build competitive solutions.
As a member of the Discrete GPU Platform Firmware Operations group, you'll engage in various aspects of the firmware architecture life cycle, driving the enablement of platform-centric features across a wide range of AMD products. This role focuses on the development of embedded firmware and graphics/multimedia drivers, offering a collaborative environment where you'll interact with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative solutions.
THE PERSON:
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. You should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of driving technical discussions within a broad domain of firmware groups. Your ability to coordinate and debug critical firmware issues will be essential, as will your engagement with customer engineering teams.
