Telesat's System Modeling team architects, develops, and maintains the Lightspeed System Model-an advanced engineering software platform running on high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. This tool enables resource allocation modeling for Lightspeed operations and end-to-end performance evaluation of the Telesat Lightspeed satellite constellation.
As a System Engineering Specialist, you will help lead the technical direction of the Lightspeed System Model. You will contribute to the development and integration of sophisticated algorithms, guide performance assessments, and influence architectural decisions that drive the success of the constellation. You will also mentor engineering teams and collaborate across departments to ensure technical alignment with system requirements and seamless integration into the overall Lightspeed system.
