Handling animals Monitoring animal health Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration Track and report on current feed inventory Weaning Feed and tend animals Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Maintain work records and logs Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry Perform general farm duties Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
