Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will travel to various job locations within Durham Region and will work alongside an experienced technician to assist with a variety of pool services. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the pool service industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist in pool openings and closings as well as installation/removal of pool covers Assist with pool equipment plumbing, installation of new equipment and trouble shooting and repair of existing equipment Perform routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, equipment checks and cleaning Help transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites. Some heavy lifting required Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned by the lead technician or supervisor Provide excellent customer service and a professional attitude

Qualifications:

A valid G license is preferred but is not required Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required Some mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. This position will start in May and will last until mid to late October/November, at which point, you will be laid off.
