Job Description

We are seeking a skilled In-Ground Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will maintain, repair, and service in-ground swimming pools, ensuring they operate optimally and meet our high standards of cleanliness and functionality. You will play a vital role in guaranteeing client satisfaction and enhancing their enjoyment of pool facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing, to keep swimming pools clear of debris and maintain water clarity.

- Test and balance water chemistry, making necessary adjustments to ensure appropriate sanitation and pH levels.

- Inspect pool equipment and systems (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators), and perform repairs or replacements as needed.

- Diagnose pool equipment issues and provide effective solutions to ensure proper functioning.

- Conduct routine maintenance on pool equipment, including lubrication, filter cleaning, and backwashing.

- Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries, addressing pool-related concerns efficiently.

- Install, program, and maintain pool automation systems, including timers and controllers.

- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professional communication with clients at all times.

- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to provide a safe working environment.

- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including work performed and materials used, along with recommendations for follow-up actions.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of pool maintenance practices, water chemistry, and pool equipment.

- Familiarity with pool automation systems is a plus.

- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Physical capacity to perform manual labour and work in varying weather conditions.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
