Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one swim lessons and ensuring the safety of children with special needs, specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about swimming and eager to educate others.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during swim lessons, adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines. Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each participant. Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety skills, taking into account participants' individual learning styles and preferences. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, offering encouragement, constructive feedback, and positive reinforcement to promote skill development and confidence. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and caregivers regarding participant progress, goals, and any concerns or accommodations required.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or in a related role is preferred but not required. Demonstrated strong swimming skills and comprehensive knowledge of various swimming strokes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with participants, parents, and fellow staff members. Proven ability to work well with individuals of all ages, including children, and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. Be able to communicate in

English or Mandarin/ Cantonese

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
