Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team in Red Deer Team Sundays.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating students about water safety, swimming skills, and fostering a love for swimming.

Responsibilities

Conduct swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns. Working with children with diverse ages or disabilities Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve teaching techniques and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a swim instructor or in a related field is preferred. Strong swimming skills with the ability to educate others effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for teaching and helping others develop their swimming abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Certification in CPR, and First Aid.
